Stepped terraces in lilac, olive and navy climb the sides of a crimson field in this vintage Yahyalı rug, leading to a central hexagonal medallion in gold and blue with a red, cross-like core. A wide, glowing golden-yellow border carries a row of rosette and vase motifs, and a dark brown edge outlines the whole piece. At about 2.5 by 4 feet it is a good size for an entryway, a kitchen or a reading corner.
