Measuring 6 ft 2 in x 4 ft 5 in (187.9 cms x 134.6 cms) this is a very appealing, intricately patterned Kilim Flatweave Rug originally hand-woven in the Kars region of Eastern Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago. Made of locally sourced sheep wool, natural or colored with organic / vegetable dyes, this unique example of traditional tribal weaving features Traditional Motif Designs in pink, green, beige and orange on a dark blackish-brown base colour. The subtle and intricate design of this rug would complement all neuturally-themed, contemporary home decoration trends.
