1. About this site
This website (turkishrug.com) is operated by ALPA Technologies Ltd (UK company number 16997965, registered office: Flat 14 Thursley House, Kingsnympton Park, Kingston Upon Thames KT2 7TD, United Kingdom), in partnership with Heritage Nomadic Art Gallery in Istanbul (Cankurtaran Mh. Caferiye Sok. No 1, Sultanahmet/Fatih, 34122). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Products and pricing
Each rug is one-of-a-kind, hand-woven, and shown with photographs of the actual item. Slight variations in colour between screen and rug are normal due to monitor settings, lighting, and the natural materials used — this does not constitute grounds for return unless the item materially differs from the listing.
Prices are listed in US dollars and may be displayed in your local currency for convenience. The charged amount will be in USD or the displayed currency at checkout. We reserve the right to update prices at any time without notice; orders already confirmed at the previous price are honoured.
3. Orders and payment
Orders are confirmed by email after payment is successful. We accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability; in such cases the full payment is refunded within 5 business days.
4. Shipping
We ship worldwide via UPS Express or DHL Express, fully tracked and insured. See our Shipping Policy for delivery times, customs handling, and full details.
5. Returns and refunds
You have a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. Full conditions are documented in our Refund Policy and Distance Selling Agreement.
6. Intellectual property
All photographs, descriptions, and site content are the property of ALPA Technologies Ltd and Heritage Nomadic Art Gallery. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.
7. User-generated content
If you submit reviews, photos, or comments to the site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce that content for promotional purposes (with attribution where appropriate).
8. Account responsibilities
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim related to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, wars, government actions, or courier service disruptions.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. EU consumers retain their statutory rights under their country’s consumer protection legislation.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
