This small vintage Işıklar rug has a raspberry-red diamond medallion with a cream centre on a royal-blue field, and a little flowering sprig in each corner. A burgundy inner border with tiny crosses and a cream-and-blue outer border keep the design tidy. The pile is thick and woolly. At about 1.8 by 3.8 feet it works as a doormat, a bedside rug or a seat cover.
