Passageway Runner Rug measuring 11 ft 3 ins x 2 ft 11 in (341 cms x 88 cms).This is a charming vintage tribal runner originally hand-woven mid 1950s by by the Herki Nomads who inhabit the mountains of Far South Eastern Turkey. Authentic weaving traditions have been continued far longer in this remote region than in larger, more populous and modern cities and towns. This Runner Rug demonstrates use of lovely naturel colors in a very typical, traditional bold geometric design with Floral patterns and is very well preserved.
