Woven by Yoruk (Nomadic) weavers in the Siirt region of Eastern Turkey up to 60 years ago, this is an Undyed, Natural Angora Goat Hair Wool, Striped, Brown and White Tulu/Flokati Shaggy Kilim Rug, measuring 4 ft x 2 ft 5 in (121.9 cm x 73.6 cm). Handmade by Tribal Weavers for both Domestic and Nomadic use, this Bohemian Rustic Décor Ethnic Kilim features the distinctive, shaggy pile on the top surface typical of these blanket-like weavings, which are not only light weight and warm, but also pliable, so easily packed for transport on MIgratory Travels or for use in the Tents of Anatolian Shepherds who moved throughout the mountains annually, seeking the best places to graze and grow their sheep and goats.
