Measuring 11 ft 2 in x 6 ft 1 in (342 cms x 187 cms) this is a large plain kilim (flat-weave, pile-less) rug made of natural hemp.
This simple, minimalist and functional floor covering was hand-woven by the woven by the nomads in the Konya-Karaman region of South Central Turkey in the 1970s. It is in very good condition, sturdy and professionally cleaned.
