Antique Turkish Rug Rug originally hand woven in the Milas Region of Fethiye Province in the Aegean Coastal area of Turkey. This rug, woven Circa 1900s, is a lovely example of the finer quality and more intricately woven rugs which were produced at this time. This Rug features interesting detailed / intricate geometric nich designs in a central panel which are complimented by the contrasting bold and simpler dedign borders. This Rug was woven from locally sourced sheep wool, naturally coloured with vegetable dyes unique to the vegetation of this sunny, milder climate region of Turkey
This rug measures 5 ft 6 in x 4 ft 7 in (140 cms x 168 cms).
