This beautiful antique rug from Sivas Zara was woven in one of the Kurdish villages in the Zara district of Sivas. These people are generally semi-nomadic, mainly engaged in sheep farming, and are famous for their beautiful rugs. This rug is one of the finest examples of woven rugs from Zara.
