Measuring 11 ft x 3 ft 5 in (335 cms x 106 cms) this is a very attractive, Traditional Tribal Medallion Motif Long Hallway Runner Rug originaliyl hand woven by Tribal weavers in the mountainous regions of Toros in the Central Anatolian Province of Sivas, Turkey over 60 years ago. This Runner Rug features the Central Medallion Motif woven onto a soft Red Central Panel complimented by Floral Quarter Panel and Border Designs in Pale Blue, Soft Browns and Yellow/Gold .Using 100% locally sourced natural sheep wool colored by vegetable dyes these rugs are some of the highest quality textiles produced for local domestic use. The quality of the materials and workmanship have ensure that these rugs are very sturdy and hard-wearing, as clearly evidenced by the excellent condition of this particular runner rug.
