Measuring 3 ft 4 in x 2 ft (105 cms x 62 cms) this striking Red, Yellow and Pink Filikli Tulu Rug is a Flat Weave Kilim with tufts of wool, goat-hair yarn or thin strips of cloth interwoven into the base kilim, using the Turkish knot, to create the distinctive ”shaggy” / “tufted” texture and appearance unique to these Rugs. Originally woven in Central Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago.
