This is a 100% Handmade, Vintage, Wool Tulu Rug, made in Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 100 years ago. It is a Tulu style weaving - basically a kilim or a flatweave with tufts of wool or goat-hair yarn interwoven using the Turkish knot to form tuft patterns on the underlying design. Due to the unique weaving style, this rug is particularly heavy for its' size and will sit well on any surface.
