This is an antique rug from the Shirvan region, Northern Azerbaijan. It was hand-woven by local people using natural dyes. The beautiful saffron yellow color is stunning, and the bird motifs in the upper corners symbolize prosperity. It is in excellent condition.
Measures: 4'7'' feet x 3'6'' feet (107 cms x 140 cms).
