This large scale rug, woven in the early 1920s, was used in mansions along the Bosphorus in Istanbul. We have cleaned and restored this magnificent rug, and it is still in excellent condition. It has impressive colors and patterns, a very tight weave, and is made of pure wool dyed with natural dyes. It is a unique rug.
