Handmade, Vintage Wool, Flat-Weave Cicim Kilim Rug, woven in the Konya region of Central Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago. Cicim Kilims are often referred to as "embroidered" weavings as the design motifs are applied "in addition to" the warp and weft (supplementary weft technique) adding a textured effect to the plain background. This kilim is Turkish Sheep Wool on Goat Hair foundation.
