A raspberry-pink diamond medallion with an ivory inner medallion sits in the middle of this vintage Işıklar rug, with indigo-violet corners full of small flowers and sprigs. A wide ochre-gold border carrying bold rosette and vase motifs wraps the field, with narrow blue guard stripes on either side. The wool pile is soft and the colours are rich without being loud. At about 4.7 by 7.2 feet it fits a bedroom, an office or a seating corner.
