Measures : 5 ft x 6 ft (185 cm x 154 cm). This kilim was created without a template. It was woven whenever there was time. Tents were dismantled and reassembled elsewhere, field work had to be done, children were cared for and supplies were stocked. In addition to all this work, the women and their daughters sat down at the looms and made the most beautiful kilims. Each carpet was based on a tribal pattern that constantly gained variations. A kilim is the work of a woman and therefore a mirror of her soul and her surroundings.
