Measuring 8 ft 10 x 7 ft 6 in (269.2 cms x 228.6 cms) this is a strikingly simple, Vertically Striped Turkish Kilim Flatweave Rug originally hand-woven in 1960's in the Tokat Province of the Mid-Black Sea region of Anatolia, Turkey. Made of locally sourced sheep wool, natural or colored with organic / vegetable dyes, this simple example of traditional tribal weaving features shades of black, greyish brown and white which would complement all neuturally-themed, monochrome palette home decoration trends
