Selga — Vintage Anatolian Wool Area Rug

Introduce unparalleled warmth and unique texture to your home with this exquisite Siirt Floti Kilim rug. Originating from the southeastern Anatolian city of Siirt, these rare and highly sought-after rugs are celebrated for their distinctive shaggy pile and rustic charm, setting them apart from traditional flatweave kilims.

This particular Floti Kilim showcases a captivating deep, earthy hue – rich black or dark brown – derived from the natural, undyed wool of local sheep. Its plush, deep pile offers an incredibly soft and inviting surface underfoot, making it a true comfort piece for any living space. A striking, minimalist motif, often a symbolic star or geometric pattern in contrasting natural cream or off-white wool, anchors the design, flanked by subtle striped borders that add to its authentic, tribal character.

Each Siirt Floti rug is meticulously handwoven by skilled artisans, preserving centuries-old weaving traditions. More than just a rug, it's a testament to Anatolian heritage and craftsmanship, embodying a soulful, organic aesthetic.
