These covers were cut from an antique Konya Tulu, the long-pile shaggy rug that Anatolian village weavers made for warmth. A deep burgundy pile frames saffron-yellow hooked medallions outlined in red-orange, with ivory and lilac at their centres. The pile is thick and soft, and the pair adds real texture and colour to a bed, a window seat or a dark leather sofa.
