Handmade, Vintage Wool, Flat-Weave Filikli Tulu Kilim Rug, made in the Central Anatolian region of Karapinar, Turkey, by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago. Tulu was a purely functional nomadic rug featuring the coarse weaving, primitive patterns and limited colors of rugs woven quickly for domestic use. Tulu translates as “hairy” which typifies the shaggy, long and uneven pile strands of these rugs.
