This is a Medium-sized Kilim measuring 5 ft x 3 ft 1 in (152.4 cms x 93.9 cms) It is a Traditional Design, Flat-weave Kilim Rug, originally handmade in the Esme / Denizle region of Usak, Western Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago. using locally sourced sheep wool which was expertly colored with natural, vegetable dyes and then hand spun by village spinners. This rug features large chevron/geometric medallion patterns in the central field which are complimented by smaller, traditional motif designs on the borders woven in various soft shades of Terracotta, Blue/Grey, Green and Brown
