This Vintage Kilim rug was handwoven in 1960's in the Antalya region of South Western Turkey by tribal nomads who migrated from Eastern Anatolia to in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. This weaving style is the signature of the Barak weavers, with large and bold Traditional Chevron / Zig Zag Motif Design Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange and Ivory woven with naturally dyed sheep wool, said to be representative of the "bright" and "sunny" climate associated with Mediterranean locations.
