This lovely Flat-weave Kilim Rug was handwoven in the Central West Anatolian region of Manastir, Turkey up to 60 years ago. Manastir has a long and rich history as a producer of quality village tribal rugs for both domestic use as well as commercial trade. Locally sourced sheep wool is hand-spun and dyed with vegetable dyes unique to the area and Manastir rugs are renowned for the high quality of the wool used, the beauty of the colors and the durability / longevity of the finished product.
