Measuring 5 ft x 3 ft 1 in (154 cms x 94 cms) this striking Orange, Pink and Blue Filikli Tulu Rug is a Flat Weave Kilim with tufts of wool, goat-hair yarn or thin strips of cloth interwoven into the base kilim, using the Turkish knot, to create the distinctive ”shaggy” / “tufted” texture and appearance unique to these Rugs. Originally woven in Central Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago.
