Woven in the Western Anatolian town of Esme, in the Denizle region of Turkey, up to 60 years ago, this is a traditional design Vintage Kilim Rug with typical overall tribal motifs / stylised floral designs in shades of green, light brown, orange and yellow repeated on a darker brown background. Esme kilims are known for the tightness of their weaving and softer color combinations which appeal to western home decorating trends.
