Oversized, softly colored Turkish Vintage Rug which has been “color reformed” / “sun faded” and / or “overdyed” and the pile reduced to produce the muted / distressed “Vintage" appearance so popular for interior home decoration at this time. Originally woven in a Malayer, design, this rug was hand made in Far South Eastern Anatolia, Turkey Circa 1960. Woven of wool on cotton and in excellent "distressed" condition, these Antique Washed rugs combine a contemporary color palette with vintage design appeal. The reduced pile allows for flexibility of placement under furniture and ease of cleaning. This rug weighs 14 kgs and the variations in color as well as other "imperfections" are intentional. • Authentic, Quality Product.
